Lithic was founded by Marcus Webb in a gravel driveway in Colorado Springs with two employees, a used skid steer, and an unreasonable belief that outdoor spaces deserved the same obsessive craft as the homes they surrounded.

That belief — and Marcus's refusal to compromise on material quality, engineering, or aesthetics — built a reputation that spread entirely by word of mouth. Eighteen years later, Lithic has 34 full-time craftsmen, three dedicated designers, and a project list that spans the Front Range and beyond.

We remain obsessive about the details that most contractors overlook: the proper pitch of a patio for drainage, the careful selection of stone to match your home's existing palette, the line of a walkway that looks inevitable.
